During the 1960's The Ghouls were the music of writer and producer Gary Usher, best known for his work with the Beach Boys. The Ghouls combined the 60's trends for Hot Rods and Monster movies. "Dracula's Deuce" was released in 1964 featuring Rick Burns, Chuck Girard, Joe Kelly and Richard Podolor.

The Ghouls are also a street punk band no longer releasing music in Philadelphia PA. Members have gone on to form Hate and War. http://www.myspace.com/hateandwar

There is also a now defunct band that goes by The Ghouls coming from Detroit, Michigan.

The Ghouls were also a punk rock band from Adelaide, Australia existing around 1996-1998. A posthumous album entitled In Blood Chilling Stereo was released by EC Productions.

Now the reason why this one it is called a gulper is based on what the almost human fingers in its mouth do, they grip their prey then strip them finally then it gulps them down.

The fingers have a lot of flexibility.
A lot like our how own fingers are used to grab something or remove packaging from from our food, the gulpers mouth fingers do pretty much the same as can be seen when Lucy lost not only her boot but obviously her sock as well, this is because the fingers removed them.

I believe that once the gulpers fingers have done its job it spits out the non organic matter clothes etc. and gulps down the exposed prey whole.

Both Thaddeus and Lucy were very lucky as this is a terrifying way to die.

The gulper was killed due to it gripping Thadeus too tightly, it lost its battle and its guts to a tug of war match with the power armoured Brotherhood Knight Maximus, when he pulled out Thaddeus he also pulled out the gulpers throat this was probably due to A. his power armour making him stronger and B. reflux from accidently swallowing the boot when it was removed during the struggle, this caused its throat muscles to convulse in a gag reflex when the boot was spat out making it easy for its throat to be ripped out by Maximus, finally C. due to the gulpers fingers gripping Thadeus too tightly this gave Maximus the advantage of friction to pull against tearing the gulpers esophagus out.

I hope this creature is in the game one day and if not I will mod it in they are gross and creepy.

I love that they made the power armor a physical things someone wears but the downside to that is anytime they are moving or fighting it feels very clunky and slow very realistic as armor like that wouldn’t be the most mobile thing ever but over the games it’s just been shown power armor being just like normal armor just better but I prefer this over them doing cgi and it looking bad

Agreed, although a nice middle ground would have also been OK in my opinion ala the iron man films which used real chest shoulders and helmet blended with cgi lower body and arms. This sounds strange but ensures that the realism doesn't die as you get closer to the subject a close up dramatic shot of someone's head/face isn't ruined by obvious cgi around it making it look like a scene from space jam (human in a cartoon) and wide action/establishing shots have fluidity in the suit/joints as any clipping would be hard to make out or not hide with lighting and fx

It was shown over all of the games "you need special training as it effects muscles differently" -brotherhood paladin in Fallout 3 at the Citadel. It is clunky to a degree but it's "powered". Cars, fighter planes, and all powered equipment isn't clunky and slow unless designed that way.

The creature is a human/axolotl hybrid, genetically engineered.
Those were human fingers in its mouth, human fingers have great dexterity, just like the way we use our own fingers to remove a wrapper from a candy bar, the gulper does the same with its prey, it wasn't biting Lucy as it doesn't have teeth to bite down with, at 1.10 her boot and sock were evidently removed lending credence to my theory, during the struggle it accidently swallowed the boot plus it swallowed some of the anti feral chems when she hit it with the bag.
It may have felt unwell after that so when Thaddeus and Maximus fought it the thing may have had reflux from swallowing the boot enabling Maximus to pull out Thaddeus along with the creatures esophagus, Maximus of course would have won anyway due to power armour boosting strength.
Back to the fingers.
Basically to the gulper we are a human candy bar the gulper unwraps us with the mouth fingers, when we are ready it then as its name suggests, gulps us down in one go, burping out our weapons, armour and clothes etc. anything non organic basically.
I have a theory that the dog CX404 has a poisonous bite to mutants hence why the gulper fled, this might be brought up in season 2.

I've visited this quarry before! The ruined buildings in the lake, it's a very sick location. Mining quarry that hit a natural spring and flooded like that -- so cool to see it on this show!!

before asking this question, I did review the comments below and saw one possible answer, but even though it seems to be the only one (the hook) I still can't understand how the Gulper was killed. Can Gulpers breath air?

It was a mutated Quentin Tarantino with his renowned foot fetish, seriously the finger teeth taking her boot off gave it away, Gulper Tarantino sadly died from a broken heart because she rejected him.

The gulper has fingers for teeth, the fingers were holding onto to Thaddeus so tightly that when max pulled him out it ended up ripping his entire stomach out of it's body since the power armor is stronger than the insides of the gulper basically a brutal tug of war 😅

That scene was a little dumb in the writing side. Ghoul gets knocked down and just lays there until the gulper gets away. I wish the writers and directors could make stuff make a little more sense.

He was stupid, made a human mistake going for the head, the heads of salamanders are tough, the dog had the right idea of going for the leg as that is its weakest part.

Neat detail: Max’s ammo counter in his visor (when he says “I am a knight of the BOS”) is accurate. It displays “009” and he fires 9 rounds from his pistol before it runs dry.

Imo i love practical effects and that of the PA but at times it was off putting, especially when it fought with the CGI gulper. The eye placement also makes the design of the gulper look weird, but I can't remember if that's how it was in the game.

These ones are different from the ones in Far Harbour, these ones are a human/axolotl hybrid.
The fingermouth is to remove armour choke hazards etc. and the eyes are hybrid eyes acvounting for the poor eyesight underwater.

Maybe it’s teeth mutated into fingers to better grip and force food down it gullet? And it’s like a regional gulper instead of Salamanders this one being Axolotl based evolution and mutation. Would certainly count for it being pink and have very weak flesh.

Its not shown till later, but this used to be a human who was kidnapped and tested on in vault 4. It was a vault filled with scientists. This is moslty confirmed to be the same guy. I think its uncle Henry.

The creature is a human/axolotl hybrid, genetically engineered.
Those were human fingers in its mouth, human fingers have a lot of dexterity, just like the way we use our own fingers to remove a wrapper from a candy bar, the gulper does the same with its prey, it wasnt biting Lucy as it doesn't have teeth to bite down with, at 1.10 her boot and sock were evidently removed lending credence to my theory, during the struggle it accidently swallowed the boot plus it got a mouthload of chems when she hit it with the bag.
It may have felt unwell after that so when Thaddeus and Maximus fought it the thing may have had reflux from swallowing the boot enabling Maximus to pull out Thaddeus along with the creatures esophagus, Maximus of course would have won anyway due to power armour boosting strength.
Back to the fingers.
Basically to the gulper we are a human candy bar the gulper unwraps us then as its name suggests, gulps us down in one go.

Smoothskin tends to be something ghouls that want to eat people say, plus I think it is more an east coast ghoul thing, in all my time playing I can't remember a ghoul in California calling me smoothskin, I could be wrong however.

Everyone keeps calling that a Gulper. Idk if that's what it is, I prefer the other name I've heard for it - Fingermouth. Cuz that thing has more in common with a Centaur than it does a salamander. Some weird remix of human biomass into a axolotl shape.

It is actually a hybrid of an axolotl/human, the reason it is called a gulper is based on what the almost human fingers in its mouth do, basically human fingers are extremely dextorous, they have a lot of flexibility, like our own fingers remove packaging from from our food, the gulpers mouth fingers do pretty much the same as can be seen when Lucy lost not only her boot but her sock as well, I believe that once the gulpers fingers have done its job it spits out the non organic matter and gulps down the exposed prey whole.
Both Thaddeus and Lucy were very lucky as this is a terrifying way to die for sure.
It died due to a tug of war match with a power armoured Brotherhood Knight, when Maximus pulled out Thaddeus he also pulled out the gulpers throat this was probably due to A. his power armour making him stronger and B. reflux from swallowing the boot causing its throat muscles to convulse.

All that aside despite being different from Far Harbours gulpers, this one gets the name because it strips its prey then gulps it down.

@@masonabbey6353 Fingermouth is actually a terrifying name agreed, if I mod this into the Fallout games I will have to call it that, and perhaps incorporate clothing damage into the mod along with a grapple and swallow attack, as Fallout doent have button mashing I figure the best way to prevent getting insta-killed would be to use a chem, if you don't have it then the fingermouth swallows the character whole and burps out their apparel, maybe it can instakill raiders too, enabling us to get their loot easier.
