Just for you
you
you
. . .

Ev'ry little thing I do
you know I do it just for you.
I got no money no place to live
but all I got you know I'd give
I was thinking of you when I wrote this song
Now that I have found you

Please stay here where you belong.

Just for you
just for you
just for you
just for you.
I had to keep it
had to save it
had to give it to you.
Just for you
just for you
just for you
just for you

You
you
just for you
you
you
just for you.

When you're lonely
when you're sad
think of all the fun we
I knowthat I ain't made ityet
when I do all I've gotyou'll get
I am dreaming of you while I play this song
Now that I have found you

Please stay here where you belong.

Just for you

just for you

Dug that song when I was 14, still dig it today. The British glam scene was way cool in the early-mid 70's

The Glitter Band too have been victims of Gary's misdeeds. Today's politically correct & spineless radio execs shit themselves at the mention of the word Glitter regardless of context. The band had some great hits that deserve radio play & should not be airbrushed from history like some Stalinist conspiracy! Even former Radio One DJ Steve Wright referred to them as the G Band on an edition of TOTP2.

Well said, that man!

The Glitter Band stood alone they never had anything to do with Gary Glitter. They had there own hits before management paired them together. You cannot tie them to Gary Glitter at all. Their music should be celebrated just like other Glam Rock band of the time. Steven Wright is a tired out hippy who plays depressing tiresome songs. Most of the BBC DJ's haven't the balls to stand up for good solid bands through the eras with an edge. Bland repetitive moronic BBCrap radio channels.

Irish radio isn't much better - then again, if they play what's in the charts, they don't have much choice. Pity they wouldn't get behind bands like Goldray, for example - a proper band (i.e. not manufactured) that play something more exciting than the music-by-numbers that The X-factor tries to force-feed us....

I totally agree, they were a major part of the glam rock scene
