No other words just stamped in through
A thousand miles but not too far to see
The day will come for all so pleasantly
A better way
A better way
Half the things have not been said
When the days go by in times ahead
The day will come for all so pleasantly
A better way
A better way
And all the time
Enriched in style
Shines on me
Like a billion smiles
Billion smiles
And all the time
Enriched in style
Shines on me
Like a billion smiles
Billion smiles
Everyway you book's a mess
Seems like fate won't work for us
A thousand miles but not too far to see
The day will come for all so pleasantly
A better way
A better way
And all the time
Enriched in style
Shines on me
Like a billion smiles
Billion smiles
And all the time
Enriched in style
Shines on me
Like a billion smiles
Billion smiles
Billion smiles
Billion smiles
The Grapes of Wrath's song "Seems' Like Fate" is a beautiful and introspective reflection on life and the journey that we all go on. The lyrics seem to touch on the idea that life is not always easy, but if we keep our eyes open and stay positive, we will eventually find our way to a better place. The song starts off by acknowledging that there may not be a way to fully express everything that we want to say, but despite this, we can still find ways to communicate and understand each other. The lines "No other words just stamped in through/ A thousand miles but not too far to see" suggest that even when we feel far away from someone or something, we can still feel a connection.
The chorus of the song is where the message really hits home. The repeated line "A better way" is a powerful reminder that there is always a way to make things better, no matter how difficult they may seem. Even when "half the things have not been said," we can still find a way forward. The song then takes a turn towards a more personal message, as the singer reflects on the way that life enriches their own experience. The lines "And all the time/ Enriched in style/ Shines on me/Like a billion smiles" suggest that despite challenges and difficult times, life is full of beauty and joy, and that we should focus on those positive elements in order to find happiness.
Overall, "Seems' Like Fate" seems to be a message of hope and perseverance, encouraging the listener to keep moving forward even in uncertain times. It is a reminder to hold onto the good things in life and never give up on the search for a "better way."
