Lawrence and Keeler, along with Detroit musician and producer Dave Feeny, were in the Do-Whaters, the band formed and led by Jack White of Detroit band The White Stripes for Loretta Lynn's 2004 album Van Lear Rose. Lawrence and Keeler are now at work in The Raconteurs with Benson and White. Lawrence is also the banjo and autoharp player for another Detroit band, Blanche, which also includes the aforementioned Feeny.
The band is also responsible for composing the soundtrack to a skateboard movie entitled "Mosaic" and released in 2003 by Habitat skateboards.
The band's latest album, entitled "****", was released on October 26, 2010, and was released on Jack White's Third Man Records imprint. The Greenhornes toured America, Europe, and much of Australia and New Zealand in support of the album, through 2010 and 2011. As of 2012, they have reformed, and have begun touring, however no news has emerged on whether the band will enter the studio to record another album, yet.

For a long, long time
To know I've been cheated
All my life
No more
No more
And I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh, I've been crying
Can't you see
The tears over my eyelids
Well no more
Well no more
And I say yeah, yeah, yeah
I've been feeling
All my love
I know how to get it
On my own
Well no more
No more
And I say yeah, yeah, yeah
I'e been sitting
On my own
You know I've been sitting
On my own, yeah
No more
No more
And I say yeah, yeah, yeah
The Greenhornes' song No More is a blues-rock track with intense emotion conveyed through the lyrics. The singer begins by revealing that they have been mistreated for a long period and cheated throughout their life. The repetition of the line "No More" is a declaration that the singer is done with being treated poorly and taken for granted. There's a sense of closure and finality in the refusal to endure such treatment any longer.
The sense of sadness and despair is evident in the second verse as the singer talks about crying every night. They are visibly affected by the treatment they have received, and it's evident from the tears they shed nightly. However, the declaration of "No More" is still repeated, hinting at a gradual inner strength and determination manifesting itself in the singer. The final verse reveals that the singer is finally taking control of their life by getting their love on their own. The final repetition of "No More" is a sign of rebellion against the norm, where the singer is taking charge of their own happiness.
In summary, The Greenhornes' song No More is a powerful and evocative track that speaks to the rejection of being mistreated and determined efforts to take control of one's life, finding happiness independently.
