Used to juggling with toys and their missiles
Your delusion can't admit that it's a sacrifice
So you gonna push the button on another life
We're freedom fighters we're selling lighters
I warn you if you undermine us, we'll start the fires
Coz our friends are being wasted on the front lines
And now you're just polluting all the headlines
Smoke covers the sky
Ring of fire in your eyes
This is a circus
Won't somebody help us
It's too late for the hopeless
And we're not laughing now
This is a circus
You step on the broken
And you take what you owe us
But we're not laughing
We're on a tight rope, can't cope
We cut off from the harness and we let go,
Straight into a life boat, that don't float, a sick joke
If I choke,
You would leave me lying here just waiting for the white coats
We're irrelevant, in your element,
Ignoring the elephant that's in the room cos you're shelling em,
Putting hell in em,
After telling em that they've got it
Much better than a baby born in Bethlehem
Pre 2:
Supermassive lies
Triple mega fortified
Mid 8:
You're the ringleader
The lion tamer
Eradicate the wild
And syndicate behind
Closed doors
The ones we bought
Make your own folk law
It's seams you can do anything you like
We are not your animals
Won't keep doing what you want
Can you hear the rebels loud
Voices can't be tainted now
We are not your animals
Won't keep doing what you want
Can you hear the rebels now
We have come to burn you down
The Hara's song Circus is a powerful commentary on the current state of the world, where governments and powerful entities manipulate and control the masses. The song's opening verse speaks of clowns commanding crowds, using toys and missiles to juggle, and the sacrifice that the world faces due to the delusion of those in power. The chorus speaks of the dire situation the world is in and the desperation for help, stating that it's too late for the hopeless. The song then goes on to speak of the world being a tightrope, where people can't cope and are cut off from the harness, falling into a lifeboat that doesn't float, which is a sick joke. The middle eight highlights the ringleader's control over the world, eradicating the wild and syndicating behind closed doors, while the rebels are trying to burn everything down.
The Hara uses circus imagery to portray the world as a chaotic, unpredictable, and uncontrollable place. The clowns and tightrope walkers symbolize the politicians and leaders who use their power to manipulate the masses. The smoke covering the sky and the ring of fire in their eyes signify the danger that the world is facing, and the hopelessness that the masses are experiencing. The song portrays the world as a circus where people are helpless and isolated. The lyrics symbolize the challenges that people face in the current world, and the need to fight for freedom against those who try to manipulate and control everything.
