I've never seen that kind of hash either. Reminds me of when I was a kid and our family would go camping and my mom fixing corn beef hash in an iron skillet with eggs and toast and how good it was. Great memories.

I've always had amazing hash in breakfast spots but could never replicate it perfectly myself. I just couldn't nail that crispy crust and patty formation. Smashing it like a burger makes so much sense! Thanks for finally solving that riddle Kev!

Interesting. Years ago I read a recipe from Ina Garten that was a Truman Capote recipe for Chicken Hash. I made it and it was delicious. I no longer have the recipe, but could probably get it off Food Network. Your appetite seems good, which is a plus. Hope you are doing well.
