If you went daily smoking 20-80 joints you'd probably end up with some sort of cancer along with emphazyma. You wouldn't have the tar and nicotine problems but every other problem with putting smoke in your lungs will be there.......not only putting it there but also holding it in your lungs

You cannot smoke 20-80 joints and I’ve known so many people who smoke everyday who are completely fine, I think it’s pretty clear that smoking weed is much less harmful than nicotine, I don’t believe it’s completely healthy to smoke weed but the chances of developing a disease from weed is so much lower

It was easy for me to quit drinking. I quit that when I started Body building early last year. And even then I drank only in moderation because I knew what it could do. I also never smoked anything before and I don't plan to. No alcohol - no drugs.

@@KenH-pm2lh You are right - not necessary but it seems that the happy situations one find themselves in causes a "high" in them. Like parties (with or without alcohol) , picnics, sex, exercise etc. Even a full belly causes chemicals (dopamines?) to flow in the body and produce a "high". And when one is completely relaxed and happy, they can be more witty as apposed to those being constricted, tight etc. So, no need for weed to be happy but it does help. Take care.

@@pushinp2651 No it’s not. You may form a reliance on weed, like an emotional crutch, but the nicotine in tobacco and vape products is a chemically addicting substance. There are physical consequences of quitting smoking cold turkey, which are not present when you stop smoking weed. As a teen myself, I can put down weed at any time, and have for various lengths of time, but my friends who smoke can’t just leave it at will.

@@ganymede that's really interesting :0 I think in your case, mental health is very reliant on how you "feel" rather than chemical the compounds in the brain. that "feeling" part of mental health is when therapy comes in to change how you think about things. nicotine gives more of a dopamine rush rather than a different state of mind, which may be why your body doesn't react much to it while weed and its psychoactive properties does so much more to satisfy the emotional balance your body needs.

I'm on adderall and occasionally smoke weed. I can live without adderall (although I can't focus very well due to ADHD) but smoking weed feels more susceptible to being abused. I moderate my intake to give my lungs and brain a break. I've gotten over an alcohol addiction before, so I am aware of what I can do to help myself.

It is true actually. This is because most Marijuana users take deeper inhales and hold in the smoke compared to cigarette smoking. Marijuana smoking still isn't nearly as bad as smoking cigarettes, but it's definitely not healthy by any means.
