Searching for a home
Looking for a place of comfort, security and acceptance

Because the road
The path or life journey

Doesnt care who's right
The path does not differentiate between correct and wrong

And who is wrong
Nor does it take into account the right direction or choices

Lost but not alone
Feeling disoriented yet not deserted or abandoned

Throw out the illusion
Let go of unrealistic expectations or perceptions

Cut out the confusion
Eliminate ambiguity, uncertainty or mixed signals

Pull up to the crossroads
Arrive at the intersection or fork in the road

Of what they say is good
What society, family or peers deem as appropriate

And what I want
And my own personal desires and aspirations
