I just noticed that
on the photo of an
album cover used
in the thumbnail
for this video
is a flag of The
Confederate States of America.
This REALLY endorses my misperception of the
origins of "The Hillsiders."

Since Bobby Bare
is the featured
vocalist, this video may
attract more people if his name is in the description. Both
Bobby Bare and the Hillsiders were
in great voice during the recording session.
Keep up the good work Bianca!๐๐
Ruth Boykin
I agree!

I was thinking the same thing, Bobby's name should be in the title somewhere.
BeMisty
Thing is that Bobby Bare is not singing on this track ;-)
2packs4sure
I was wondering...........
The lead actually sounds a little like Bobby singing in a slightly higher register but,,,,,,,,, i was wondering.
BeMisty
The lead singer is Kenny Johnson
Ruth Boykin
Great song, fantastic music. Thank you B!

Ruth Boykin ...they were great guys too Ruth,I knew this Liverpool band well. The late Kenny Johnson, lead singer, hosted two hours of good Country Music on local radio for thirty years. On his gigs,if I was in the audience,he'd always get me up for a couple of numbers!

Had no idea they
were a British group. I had an
image of them
being from any
hilly area in the
southeastern USA up
through as far north as Virginia.
