1)
Is a psychobilly band formed in early summer of 2006, and having started out as a three-piece, The Hitchcocks have already established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. After a slight alteration of the band and another guitar player added, The Hitchcocks have moved into high gear. The music is reminiscent of The Ramones added a little Misfits, and grained up with lyrics that pays tribute to the late Alfred Hitchcock and to the horror genre in general. With most of the songs clocking in just around the 2 minute mark, The Hitchcocks are stripped down no-nonsense punk in its truest sense. The Hitchcocks have shared the stage with such acts as: The Bones, Time Again, The Peawees, The Peacocks, Mad Marge And The Stonecutters, The Zatopeks, The Headlines, The 20belows, Adam West, Johnie 3 and they’ve played venues such as Punk-And-Billy-Bash, Copenhagen Underground and Hævn69. 2008 looks to be a promising year for The Hitchcocks. Lots of touring throughout Europe, and hopefully a full-length under the belt. The Hitchcocks will be sharing the stage with such acts as The Apers, The 20belows, The High Hats, The Camtwisters, Demented Are Go, etc.

The Hitchcocks (US) formed in late 2005 in Cleveland, Ohio. The band is led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Rick W and is a blend of mod, pop, classic rock, and glam sounds. They recorded a 12-song CD at Ante Up Studios in 2006, and then relocated to Atlanta with a revamped lineup. They're currently playing around Atlanta and beyond, while writing material for a late 2008 release.

Cold moonlight outside my window
Suddenly sounds from where I don't know, oh oh oh oh
Got up, but now I'm surrounded
Aliens got me, mission accomplished, oh oh oh oh
My baby left me here (my baby left me here)
Now all pain is away
Gonna live a life in space
Leaving this mess for better days
For better days
Nowhere to run, now they've got me, wo oh oh oh
Nowhere to hide, mission accomplished
Nowhere to run, now they've got me, wo oh oh oh
Nowhere to hide, mission accomplished
The Hitchcocks's song "Mission Accomplished" is an eerie and mysterious piece that leaves a strong impression on its listener. The lyrics depict a chilling story of being trapped by aliens and their mission being accomplished. The song starts off with a cold moonlight outside the window and strange sounds that suddenly surround the singer. They feel trapped as aliens surround them and their mission is accomplished. The singer's lover has left them, and the pain has driven them to seek a new life in space, leaving the world behind.
The song's power lies in its darkly poetic lyricism, creating a haunting atmosphere of uncertainty and the unknown. By describing a situation where the aliens have successfully accomplished their mission, the song creates a sense of helplessness and dread for the singer.
Symbolically, the song can be seen as a commentary on the fear of the unknown, representing the struggles we face when confronted with forces that we cannot comprehend or control. The eerie atmosphere created by the song conveys this message effectively, leaving the listener with a sense of unease long after the track has finished.
