Founded in 2002 in Rochester, NY, The Hoodies' catalogue includes 5 U.S. releases (Karma Is A Boomerang, Endings, A Place On Solid Ground, What's to Come, and B-Sides) and 2 Japanese releases (Karma Is A Boomerang and A Place On Solid Ground). The band built up a strong word-of-mouth following in the early 2000's by packing local venues and concentrating on college campuses.
Crowds of 400+ turned out for their shows, including their CD release party in January of 2006.
Brandon Desormeaux left the band and the remaining members went on to form Joywave in 2010.
