Come Over
The Internet Lyrics

But 'sho you right
Home alone
For the night
I can turn you on
With my dirty mind
Say I won't
Worth a tryPuppy love
Butterflies
Made you blush
You made me smile
What you want
Baby you decide
Why we grown
Wasting time
You're beautiful babe
You're really something
Stylin' I gotta say
T-shirt, designer jeans
You got me open
Filled with emotion
Living in ecstacy
Just want you next to me
I'll bring the champagne
Don't turn me down babe
We can play Simon Says
Or watch TV in bed
Wake with the sunrise
Sleep in it's alright
Ain't even gotta sex
Mmm but, I know what you like
Can I come over, come over?
You're wasting your time
Baby
If you just let me come over babe
If you just let me come over babe
Know you wrong
But 'sho you right
Home alone
For the night
I can turn you on
With my dirty mind
Say I won't
Worth a try
Puppy love
Butterflies
Made you blush
You made me smile
What you want
Baby you decide
Why we grown
Wasting time
(Steve)
If you just let me come over babe
If you just let me come over babe
The lyrics of The Internet's "Come Over" depict a scenario where the singer is attracted to someone who they know is wrong for them, but they are willing to take a chance and explore their chemistry. The opening lines "Know you wrong but 'sho you right/Home alone for the night" suggest that the object of the singer's desire may be in a complicated or off-limits situation, but they still feel drawn to them.
Throughout the song, the singer expresses their desire to be close to this person and implies that they can satisfy their partner both emotionally and sexually. The line "I can turn you on with my dirty mind" shows that the singer is confident in their ability to arouse their partner. Additionally, the line "We can play Simon Says or watch TV in bed/Wake with the sunrise, sleep in, it's alright" suggests that the singer is seeking a deeper connection and is willing to engage in non-sexual activities as well.
The repeated phrases "Can I come over, come over?" and "If you just let me come over babe" highlight the singer's persistent desire to be with their partner despite the risks and obstacles. Overall, the lyrics of "Come Over" convey a sense of longing, attraction, and the complexities of human desire.
