Shimofuke Jackson this is a tough song. Tugs at your heart. Tough. I’m from new york but I spent one summer in Philadelphia when I was about 13. Philly had big time music we never heard in new york. Most never got out of philly but these dudes were big time.

When I was 4 years old my dad played the Intruders and this song all the time. The earliest music that I can remember. They are part of my DNA. Little Sonny is one of the most charismatic lead singers of all-time.

Best group to come out of Philly and best lead singer to come out of Philly seen the inturders five or six times and little sonny was a class act he always had a smile on his face classy guy with a great voice!!!!

It's funny, back in the 70s when I worked downtown, I used to walk past Sigma Sound Studios several times a week just to see who I could see going in or coming out.

The Philadelphia Intruders, the true sound of Phillies youth. Big Sunny, Little Sunny, Phil , and Byrd , the Intruders, the guys that grew into the sound of Philadelphia. Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, had there ears to the ground and heard the sound of Philadelphia.
