I see where you're coming from PJ, but given that they are children, and therefore unable to think critically or exercise well informed, independent judgement in the same way that an adult can, and given that because they are children, they are essentially powerless if adults are determined to push them in a certain direction, and are basically no match for an adult who is more experienced and wiser to the ways of the world who has made up his mind to manipulate and/or brainwash them, I myself would be a bit more forgiving to the children, and much more critical of the adults who would push children into these kinds of activities and/or simply go forward and use these children in this way with no reservations in order to further their own ends.
