1. The Jets are a family band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, composed of brothers and sisters who specialize in pop, R&B, and dance music, particularly Latin freestyle.
The group officially formed in 1985, with the original lineup fizzling out by 1990. Several members of the family stayed on throughout the 1990s, unofficially reviving the group in the mid to late 1990s as a gospel outfit with most of the original members present.
Various record companies have released collections of songs from the group's popular period, while the modern incarnation of the group continues to perform at various small venues, primarily casinos and private corporate functions.
2. The Jets formed in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1958 as The Rocking Explosives and debuted on stage in 1960. Their instrumental guitarmusic sounded similar to The Shadows. They renamed the band to The Jets in 1963. The group had a big hit in Japan with an instrumental version of 'Goldfinger' under the name The Goldfingers (due to another band in Japan called The Jets). In 1966 The Jets were aiming for succes in England and recorded the single The Pied Piper, a later hit in the version by Crispian St. Peters. The Jets reformed in 1982 and still performs today.
3. Great pop has not been as prominent this decade as in the last but songwritters Graham and Mick are helping to remedy that. It's obvious they share the thoughts and dreams of John, Paul, The Hollies and Dave Clark. Both cuts are previously released as a single, TTR 7805.

Four door, don't confuse it with a two seater
Long hair, wallflower, but my flow heater
You can't tell what I am, I'm my own leader
These streets got me watching my back deeper
I two-step, from those guys
Duck down, moving it about
Who I'm 'bout to pound
You don't know me
I'm chocolate mixed with a motive
Living in a censored world full of vultures
Call me, cold, but I need to go for it
They don't wanna see us deck in the gold dust
I get it overseas, a hundred degrees dripping in the steeze
It's my season no one to please, never on a leash
Get my keys, gear loaded on three
Call it how I see
And you a bitch to me
And moving on I be
Wait, I ain't finished lemme say something
If you want the truth lemme say something
I'ma boss, in a tank with my pants sagging
So tell em come through, if they can't stand it
Wait, I ain't finished lemme say something
If you want the truth lemme say something
I ain't scared of a dude with a suit baggy
So tell come through, I'm in the black Caddy
I load the rounds
And execute it quickly
Earn the pounds
Invest it in my wit
See me
I cut the end like its a wig
See me
I make a living, others diffy
You pretending to be a rapper
You really just is an actor
Who wanted to be a rapper
Disclosure you never latching
Exposing these bros like Cosby
I'm ASAP on it like Rocky
Milly rocking, I'm feeling myself
Because I am saucy
No one ever really wanna hear the real truth
School wasn't no fun that's the real truth
Parents spending those funds to make a real youth
In a city, where they never seen my dark skin
Wait, I ain't finished lemme say something
If you want the truth lemme say something
I'ma boss, in a tank with my pants sagging
So tell 'em come through, if they can't stand it
Wait, I ain't finished lemme say something
If you want the truth lemme say something
I ain't scared of a dude with a suit baggy
So tell come through, I'm in the black Caddy
The Jets' "The Truth" is a song about wanting honesty in a relationship. The first verse sets the tone for the entire song, with the singer saying that they don't want anything complicated; they just want something simple like the truth. The chorus reiterates this sentiment and emphasizes the singer's desire for something real and unadorned. The second verse adds more detail to the situation, describing a pattern of "hot love" and "cold lies" that the singer is tired of. They want their partner to be honest and willing to work on the relationship. The bridge of the song is a plea for sincerity and a chance to put hearts on the line. The song ends with the same sentiment as before: the singer wants something simple and true.
Overall, "The Truth" is a straightforward expression of the desire for honesty and authenticity in a relationship. The lyrics of the song are clear and direct, and the music supports this simplicity with a catchy, upbeat melody. The Jets' performance adds to the song's appeal, with tight harmonies and a driving rhythm that keep the listener engaged from start to finish.
