JUMP
The John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band Lyrics

You got it tough, I've seen the toughest around
And I know, baby, just how you feel
You got to roll with the punches and get what's real
Can't you see me standin' here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Might as well jump, jump
Might as well jump, jump
Go ahead an' jump, jump
Go ahead and jump, jump
Hey, you! Hey baby, how you been?
You say you don't know, you won't know until you begin
So can't you see me standing here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Can't you see what I mean?
Might as well jump, jump
Might as well jump, jump
Go ahead jump, jump
Go ahead and just jump, jump
Knock yourself up
Can't you see me standin' here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Can't you see what I mean?
Might as well jump, jump
Might as well jump, jump
Go ahead jump, jump
Go ahead and jump baby, jump
Come on jump, jump
Might as well jump, jump
Go ahead Knock yourself up, jump
Go ahead and jump, jump
Come on and jump, jump

I heard this on the radio years ago. I heard that the story behind this was he got into a big disagreement with the band and they parted ways, and singing this as Bluegrass was his way to give Van Halen the middle finger. Either way it's fucking hilarious that this exists!
Send Me An Angel
this is the closest thing we have to Van Halen- unplugged. hell it would be awesome if with the new plans for VH with 2011, they could squeeze in an unplugged album, EVH can do all that crazy ass shit EASILY with an acoustic, listen to "spanish fly!"

I love Van Halen, and I like bluegrass. But...something DLR fans and Sammy Hagar can't deny is that Sammy would have NEVER committed such heresy with a classic VH song.
