I know the feeling of being blamed for what's not your issue. If u see a counselor who's competent or physcoligist they usually say u may have no mental illness at all just abused. Or just regular anxiety or depression from the situation. I'm glad the courts recognize gaslighting and blame shifting now and put it under a area that can be civil or criminal. Person can be sued a lot for damages or charged with harrasment or slander which is a positive. Gaslighting is wrong and I have 0 respect for anyone who behaves that way.

I make observations about myself and others most very acurate. When I say someone is an asshole I mean it usually. That's people who traumatized us make up shit about us and just act woth their ego in general I think. Men are especially bad for this we all do this occasionally. I've observed people don't always know as much as they think about other people or the world by not being present also. Maybe it's just survival instincts but worth paying attention to others anyway. Knowing what relationship green flags are is important are u supported are u stigmatized are u talked to in a respectful manner? If u look upset does someone ask why or how your day is going. Small things make a huge difference actually in anyone's day.

It's unfortunate to hear that. Sometimes it's the older people with undiagnosed issues like narcissistic personality disorder which is why they gaslight and manipulate. It is especially frustrating having abusive parents who only critique everything you do with no credit when do. Clearly judgment and gossip as well as mean gossip is a sign of toxicity. It'd more frustrating when it's those that are supposed to care about us. People who don't care about other people's problems have no empathy for how their actions words impact others. Machivellian scale where sociopaths physcopaths narcissists fall on would be most likley where those types fall on. It can cause anxiety dealing with these jerks best to cut off and avoid any interactions if possible. There draining to emotional and mental health. And you grow more when you learn to handle it and understand how to enforce boundaries which are important
