I heard this song just once during the original run and nearly 4 decades later, thought about it. Not remembering the main chorus, I searched many words, like "hi manelli hi" and "by gazelli by." Low and behold, I entered "Fame" and "hi" and I found it. It's amazing that a childhood memory could even bring me to this. Something I saw only once.

Dermot o Dreary has been playing tracks from the album on his show on saturday mornings... I remember this version far better than the album version.. especially the keyboard solo on the Yamaha which clearly isn't even plugged in.... Brilliant... I love it.

This sounds like the “demo” to the album version, which actually charted and became a big hit in the UK. American radio stations were foolish not to catch on, but obviously there was a certain amount of snobbery toward the ides of a TV show song being promoted on the airwaves, though it did happen once in a while.

I remember this episode Doris singing Bruno on the machine those others on the guitar and drums really enjoyed the song I bought the record but it was a different version to the one on TV which was a little disappointing though it was still enjoyable but this is the version I remember and enjoyed Thanks For Posting.
