Well, I got a girl that's so good to me (little Liza)
Well, now she ain't more than five foot three (little Liza)
Well, this little girl is so good to me (little Liza)
Yeah, this little girl's nearly half of me (little Liza)

[Chorus]
Little Liza Jane [Repeat: x4]
I got a girl, ? (little Liza)
Yeah, this little girl turn me upside down (little Liza)
Well, all of the little girls that I had (little Liza)
You know this little girl drives me to despair (little Liza)

[Chorus]

Yeah, I got a girl who loves me true (little Liza)
Now she ain't more than five foot two, yeah (little Liza)
You know this little girl is so good for me, yeah (little Liza)
You know this little girl's nearly half of me (little Liza)

[Chorus]

Oh yeah, I love her
Little Liza Jane
Well, I'm coming back to me love

Cause she's driving insane
When will I meet her

@jack7431

How the hell wasn't this a hit?! Such a good song and fits very well with the music of the time.

@WhoniversalReviews

Maybe that was the reason why

@MikeGreenwood51

They were a short lived entity and folded soon after. Of course the promotors are not looking to back finished groups. Their mum phoned saying she had hundreds of their records and they told her to chuck them away. Compare it with backing a horse and when the promotors realise the hourse is going to turn right past the stadium and leave the arena they drop the hot property ASP. It's a weely race and there are other horse in the next race.

@shamus12

It was derivative crap, sadly. And there was far better derivative crap available to listen to at the time...

Too primitive

@Mauricegibb1112

Bowie had a Habat of leaving bands between (1962-1966) with little exspenation

@fernandokosovel600

I can't believe is Bowie singing,seems like a mix of Lennon and Little Richard,he later declares he was almost obsessed by the time with that R'n'R pioneer

@MartinZiegert

I agree but doesn't shows what a flexible Voice he had,? And thanks god it was a flop, imagine that would have become a Hit ... it would be possibly his end before he really start ...

@Syfoll

More of a younger and nasal sounding George Harrison I'd say
