this album was inspired by The Holiwater Projectjourneys i made with Bengali Baul musicians up the Ganges on an old houseboat converted into a studio...the following year we went to the Maha Kumbh Mela in 2002 and sent sound recordings to Youth ( producer of the Orb and the Verve 'Bitter sweet Symphony' ) who had gathered Indian musicians and electronic producers - along with Alex Patterson ( The Orb ) - in Youth's London studio while we sent sound samples of the Kumbh Mela to him as digital offerings from the Ganges that were then woven into the soundtracks...the project was partly inspired to generate attention around the dwindling world fresh water supplies and this great river's demise....Thank you to Youth and company for supporting us with this fine album !

I just found it myself... (;o)* Alex Paterson (the Orb) worked on the album! I recognized the sounds and the concept, obviously, since The Orb is a Group I love... This must have been a side/solo project by Alex. Love it! (;o)*
