As someone who grew up on classic golden era country in the 60's and 70's, I am always extremely hesitant to try out new country artists since most are trash today. I could immediately recognize the masterful songwriting and harmonies of Midland when I first heard them. They are one of the driving forces behind a very small group of great "new" country music artists. Its hard to get tired of any song Midland has made since they flow just so well. I just hope they never change their sound and keep writing great traditional country songs. Please mainstream country producers stay away from this great band.

This song really gets to my heart. I may be young, but I feel emotion, I feel this song hard. My favorite lines are "Last call gets later and later, I come in here so I don't have to hate her." Ive always been a country fan ever since spending so much time with my grandparents growing up on a farm in Fort Scott KS on the weekends and for summers back in the 70's and early 80's love love my old school country from the 70's. I can still smell that smell of their country farm home sitting in the living room listening to Hank, Dolly and so many more. Guess you could call me a closet country boy lol damn how I miss my grandparents! Both my parents grew up in Fort Scott and also the turn table in my house in Olathe always had country music playing and watched my parents dance to the songs. Memories that will never fade!!
