In La Spezia, a small seaside town located in northern Italy, they started to play Ramones-style punk rock in 1993 and they are so dumb that they never stopped.
Old school punk rockers, matching striped t-shirts, speed, melodies, fun. The lyrics are inspired by movies and novels; irony, crime, war, rock references.
They recorded 5 albums and their discography include many other releases (anthologies, eps, live, splits with Queers, Apers, McRackins, Hard-Ons). In their 27-year career they toured across all Europe, North America and Japan sharing the stage with bands as Bad Religion, Anti-Flag, Descendents, Marky Ramone, Screeching Weasel, Queers, Riverdales, Mr T Experience, as well as playing a show as CJ Ramone band.
In 2007 they played in front of thousands of supporters of the soccer team Atalanta at the annual Festa della Dea in Bergamo (Italy).
They own the record label Striped Records and manage the Italian festival Punk Rock Raduno.
Another Day
The Manges Lyrics

Or just didn't like the human race
Now I'm gonna buy what you sell
And clap my hands at the tv
A treatment from the CIA
My brain is off and there's no pain
I'm gonna like your war plan
I'm gonna buy what you sell
And clap my hands at the tv
I waste another day
Coffee crumbs and ash
But I can't stop dreamin'
I can't stop dreamin' now
Lay down on my bed
Coffee crumbs and ash
I can't stop dreamin'
I can't stop dreamin now
I'm gonna like your war plan
And what the President said
I'm gonna buy what you sell
And clap my hands at the tv
I waste another day
Coffee crumbs and ash
But I can't stop dreamin'
I can't stop dreamin' now
Lay down on my bed
Coffee crumbs and ash
I can't stop dreamin'
I can't stop dreamin now
I can't stop dreamin now
I can't stop dreamin now
I can't stop dreamin now
I can't stop dreamin now
The lyrics of The Manges's song Another Day are seemingly sarcastic in tone and deal with the issue of an individual's disconnection from society. The first stanza of the song talks about the singer's disconnection from the human race, and how they will buy into anything that is sold to them, without questioning its authenticity. The singer mentions that they have had a treatment from the CIA which turns their brain off, so that they feel no pain.
The second stanza is a continuation of the first, where the singer speaks of being invested in the war plan and the President's statements. They again state that they will buy whatever is being sold to them and clap their hands at the tv.
The last stanza changes tone and talks about the singer wasting their day again, surrounded by coffee crumbs and ash, while they can't stop dreaming. They continue to dream and cannot stop dreaming now. They lay on their bed amidst the coffee crumbs and ash and cannot help but dream.
Overall, the song speaks about the disillusionment of an individual from society due to reasons unknown. The individual's pain may be unbearable, which leads them to turn off their brain and become invested in anything that they are told. The tone of the lyrics is sarcastic and somewhat cynical, as the singer can't stop dreaming but is wasting their life away.
