Can'T You See That She'S Mine
The Mojo Men Lyrics

Oh, can't you see that she's mine
We've been together for a long long time
And yet they try so very hard to pull us apart
But we don't care what they say
We're gonna keep our lovin' this way
But if they break us up
You know it'll only break my heart
Don't you know I love her so
And I'll never, never, never let her go
No matter what the people may say or try to do
'Cause can't you see that she's mine
We've been together for a long long time
And it'll stay that way
Because I know she loves me too

People talk and try to break us up
When they know they don't understand
But I don't care what the people may say
I'm gonna keep on holdin' her hand

Can't you see that she's mine
We've been together for a long long time
And yet they try so very hard to pull us apart
But we don't care what they say
We're gonna keep on lovin' this way
But if they break us up
You know it'll only break my heart

Don't you know I love her so
And I'll never, never, never let her go
No matter what the people may say or try to do
'Cause can't you see that she's mine
We've been together for a long long time
And it'll stay that way
Because I know she loves me too

And it'll stay that way
Because I know she'll love me too

According to the Wikipedia page, this is the same San Francisco group that covered Buffalo Springfield's "Sit down, I think I love you. " in 1967. Would that mean that the "Stone, Stewart" writer's credit on this 45 was actually record producer Sylvester Stewart, later known as Sly Stone?

PS: According to the same page, this record was sampled on sampled on Kanye West's "Hell of a Life"

Kanye West sampled the distorted bass guitar riff in the beginning for his song: ‘Hell Of A Life’ that’s off his critically acclaimed album: ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ from 2010.

The reason the single version sounds better is because it's the original mono mix, while every other version up here is the weak stereo mix. This should have been a monster hit. Written and produced by Sylvester Stewart/Sly Stone originally for Autumn Records.
