1) The Mojos was a British Merseybeat band from the 1960s best known today for their hit British single, "Everything's Alright". In spite of having one of the best reputations among the Liverpool Merseybeat scene, "Everything's Alright" remained their only major hit, with only two other singles charting low in the UK singles chart in 1964, and not at all elsewhere.
Lewis Collins, who later became an actor and starred in The Professionals, was a member of the group at one point.
At the time of their hit, "Everything's Alright", the band consisted of lead singer Stuart James, guitarist Nicky Crouch, keyboardist Terry O'Toole, bassist Keith Karlson and drummer John Konrad. Like many other British bands of the period the Mojos paid their dues by playing at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany.
The distinctive drumming on "Everything's Alright" was provided by Aynsley Dunbar.
2) The Mojos was an Australian blues group active in the 1990s. The band released the albums "Sassy Mama" (1995) and "Mumbo Gumbo" (1996).
3) The Mojos was an American WV garage band from West Virginia active in the 1960s. The band recorded "What She's Done" and "Go".

Oh, baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
(One day)
No more tears, my heart is dry
I don't laugh and I don't cry
I don't think about you all the time
But when I do, I wonder why
No more tears, my heart is dry
I don't laugh and I don't cry
I don't think about you all the time
But when I do, I wonder why
No more tears, my heart is dry
I don't laugh and I don't cry
I don't think about you all the time
But when I do, I wonder why
No more tears, my heart is dry
I don't laugh and I don't cry
I don't think about you all the time
But when I do, I wonder why
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old (old, old, old, old)
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby we'll be one
(One day)
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby we'll be
One, day baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
Think of all the stories that we could have told
One day, baby, we'll be old
Oh, baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
The lyrics of The Mojos's song "One Day / Reckoning Song" speak about the idea of aging and the regret that can come with it. The repetition in the chorus of "One day, baby, we'll be old" emphasizes the inevitability of aging and the passing of time. The lines "And think of all the stories that we could have told" suggest a longing for a life filled with memorable experiences and adventures, with the regret that time will eventually run out.
The lines "No more tears, my heart is dry, I don't laugh and I don't cry" suggest that the singer has moved on from a past hurt or heartbreak. However, they still occasionally think about the person who caused them pain and wonder why they still hold onto those memories. The overall message of the song seems to be the importance of living life to the fullest and making the most of one's time before it runs out.

One day, baby, we'll be old
At some point in the future, my significant other and I will be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
We will grow old together
And think of all the stories that we could have told
We will reflect on our lives together and all the stories we could have shared
No more tears, my heart is dry
I have moved on from my past heartbreak and I am no longer emotional about it
I don't laugh and I don't cry
My feelings towards my past heartbreak are numb
I don't think about you all the time

But when I do, I wonder why
However, when thoughts of my past lover do come up, I question why I ever felt that way about them

Lyrics:
No more tears, my heart is dry
I don't laugh and I don't cry
I don't think about you all the time
But when I do I wonder why
You have to go out of my door
And leave just like you did before
I know I said that I was sure
But rich men can't imagine poor.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told
Little me and little you
Kept doing all the things they do
They never really think it through
Like I can never think you're true
Here I go again the blame
The guilt, the pain, the hurt, the shame
The founding fathers of our plane
That's stuck in heavy clouds of rain.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told.
One day baby, we'll be old
Oh baby, we'll be old
And think of all the stories that we could have told.
