The Moments Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Pretty lady wont you come on for a ride
Well go south leave everything behind
Well explore the world
Every crook and turn just you and I

Feeling drained and out of time
Wanna find a place to rest and unwind
Californ I A
Or any sun-filled state just you and I

So free your mind
And leave it all behind
Just pack your bags
And come with me tonight

Pretty lady don't you wanna feel alright
Sip champagne and dance into the night
Well see every place
Well have fun for days just you and I

So free your mind
And leave it all behind
Just pack your bags
And come with me tonight
(Wont you come with me tonight)
So free your mind
Let's just lose track of time I'll be yours you'll be mine
I don't care as long as you're there

Pretty lady wont you come on for a ride
Well go south leave everything behind
Well explore the world
Every crook and turn now

So free your mind
And leave it all behind
Just pack your bags
And come with me tonight
(Wont you come with me tonight)
So free your mind
And leave it all behind
Just pack your bags
And come with me tonight
(Wont you come with me tonight)
So free your mind

Lets just lose track of time I'll be yours youll be mine
I don't care as long as you're there

You missed my favorite joke, a moment from Donatello in the Tmnt movie from 2007 (a completely underrated movie if you ask me). When Donnie is introduced as tech support, we can hear a few short conversations between him and some costumers, in which one of them apparently dialed the wrong number. And we get to hear the wonderful line: "No, I'm not playing hard to get, I'm telling you Sir, it's not that kind of hotline!"

The one about Shredder cutting off pieces of Baxter's body seriously disturbs me, even as an adult. You realize that he's actually a physically and emotionally tortured hostage, not just a villain. Psychologically disturbing stuff like that would've given me way more nightmares as a kid than something visual, like Baxter's jaw falling off because he's turning into Frankenstein's monster.

I know that I am late, but I will still reply. As a kid, I wondered about this. That I would not want to be in Stockman's place and felt sorry for him. Shredder was intimidating already, but what was he doing to Stockman was terrifying and sad. No, I didn't have nightmares and I wasn't scared, but it was disturbing. Especially that episode with him remembering his past and having this Frankenstein monster's body.
