Take trips get high
Laugh joke and good bye
Beat drum and old tin pot
I'm high on you know what
Marijuana marijuana
Juana juana mari mari
High high high high
Way way up here
Ionosphere
Beads, flowers, freedom, happiness
Beads, flowers, freedom, happiness

This is one of my favorite songs too! No one ever knows it when I start singing it randomly though :(

Marjorie Cohn

This is excellent. I know the original first and I love this too.

In '69, the pop group The Happenings combined these songs from Hair, "Hare Krishna/Be-In" and "Where Do I Go" into a pretty cool 45 that was on their 3rd LP "Piece Of Mind".

I saw hair yesterday and got to dance with the lady that belts the high notes in this song

I's sing it with alternate wording when I lived in Minsk, Belarus while working on a Chernobyl project. While grocery shopping, I'd chant,
Mannaya Kasha,
Mannaya Kasha,
Kasha Mannaya,
Mannaya Kasha....
It means "Cream of Wheat"... The grocery lady always enjoyed it!

I like this but prefer the Original Broadway Cast version from 1968.
