I see people say this cast didn't do as well as the original but people seem to forget the original version of hair was performed during the actually War. The emotioms that cast felt were more realistic because many of them went through that shit.

THIS!

Old comment is old, but I had to weigh in: this generation has also had its Vietnams--one of them in its 17th year. So I imagine the cast is drawing from those feelings here.

Although I like the original version of "Three-Five-Zero-Zero" better, this version was pretty good. 👍

My favourite version of "3 5 0 0" <3

I have to admit that while I prefer the original Broadway cast soundtrack, this is definitely my favorite version of this song. It just does a more affective job of delivering that brutally honest picture of war, while still serving as an appropriate ending to the hallucination sequence that takes up much of the second act of the musical. You can tell that this is definitely the dramatic climax of the show.

Robert Garvin

While I like this version, I do have to agree that it is a little too processed. It does fit in with this version of the musical quite well, and does a great job of portraying the honest picture of the war; however, I personally feel the original version of the song did a better job of driving home the point of the brutality of the war. But that is just my opinion.

One: Are you in high school or college? Two: If your in high school and they cut this for racism then they sure are going to cut a lot more three: if your in college I feel sorry for you that you go to a college that believes in censorship Four: WHY are they doing hair if they are just going to censor and cut stuff.
