The Notwist Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I can see the shore from here
I see your town, your house
and you
The score is
I count the letters of your name
I count the days 'til you
are here again
And I'm love galore
The lyrics of The Notwist's song Day 7 seem to be about missing someone and counting down the days until their return. The singer is looking out at the shore and thinking about the person they miss. They can see their town, house, and them in their mind's eye. The score is the letters in the person's name, which they count as a way of keeping them close.
