This was also used on the Shaun of the Dead DVD, during the special feature that explains the fates of Ed and Dianne and where Shaun was off to when he lead the zombies away from the Winchester.

Obviously it was a reference to the original Dawn of the Dead, which I don't get until I saw it again recently.

I remember my cousin and I being like "Why the f*ck is this song in this movie?" when we first saw Dawn of the Dead and hating it. Of course, we were fairly new to the zombie game at the time and thought all zombie scores should be somber and brooding. Over time, we both grew to love it for what it represented.
