<… Read Full Bio ↴There are several artists named The Outsiders (16 are mentioned here):
(1) The Outsiders (theoutsiders.eu) were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made. Other band members included Appie Rammers on bass, Leendert Busch on drums, Ron Splinter on guitar and Tom Krabbendam also on guitar. They are the subject of an official biography written by Jerome Blanes. For more information see the author's website.
(2) The Outsiders is a producer/DJ duo, based in Leiden, The Netherlands, that produces a large variety of sounds and subgenres within Drum & Bass music. The two young friends Jozef van der Veen (also known as Ecepta) and Roeland van Rijnberk (also known as Sorza) have already received support from people like Noisia, NCT, Fre4knc, Monty, SKS, DAYLE and more, with recent releases on Noisia’s labels Division Recordings and Invisible Recordings, as well as SKS’s label Vandal Records. The Outsiders met at school and they have been sharing track ideas with each other since 2013, often resulting in one of them trying to outdo the other. But after three years, the two decided to use each other’s creativity, by making Drum & Bass music together as a duo, which is showing some great results so far. Their music varies from experimental, sound design heavy halftime, to deep, minimal rollers and hard hitting neurofunk.
(3) A US band from Ohio. They started in 1959 as Tom King And The Starfires. After the arrival of the Beatles they changed their sound and changed their name to The Outsiders. Signing to Capitol at the beginning of 1966 their first single Time Won't Let Me was a Number 5 pop hit. They scored 3 more Top Thirty hits that year. Singer Sonny Geraci was later in the band Climax.
(4) American Skinhead band - "The details are a blur... the band started around 1997, I (Duck) was writing a lot of music that wasn't fitting in with the band Squiggy I was playing with. My friend at the time was learning drums so it seemed like a perfect combination. I can work out some of these songs I'm writing and she can practice playing the drums. Who knew it would progress. Luckily my buddy Pat who sang for some other local bands Anotherence and The Sick Boys (who I played in to so I knew he would be perfect) was in-between bands and was interested in what we were doing and then THAT cemented our sound and our dedication to making this an actual band."
(5) Outsiders is a psy-trance duo by Guy Malka & Haim Lev from Israel.
(6) Outsiders are 3 Hardstyle DJ's from the Netherlands, also known as Alpha Twins (aka Alpha²) and Wildstylez. They released two singles in 2007 on the Paint It Black label.
(7) Outsiders are czech alternative rock band from Ostrava.
(8) The Outsiders (Den Bosch, The Netherlands) are a rap and hip hop group.
(9) The Outsiders are a punk band from Wellington, New Zealand. Their first release was a self-titled 5 track CD. Members: Dan (guitar, vocals), Niam (guitar, vocals), Stu (bass, vocals), Dave (drums). Official MySpace.
(10) The Outsiders is a british beat group from the 60's, which released two singles, both in 1965.
(11) The Outsiders were an English punk band from Wimbledon led by Adrian Borland(vocals/guitar). They released two albums (Calling on youth 1977, Close UP 1978) before Michael Dudley (drums) and Graham Green joined the band, replacing the original bass player, Bob Lawrence and thus became The Sound.
(12) The Outsiders were an icelandic punk rock band, in icelandic Utangarðsmenn, founded by Bubbi Morthens in the early 80's. They led the new wave movement in Iceland and consisted of guitarists Michael D. Pollock (Mickey Dean) and Daniel Pollock (Dirty Dan), drummer Magnús Stefánsson (mad Dog Magoo), and bassist Rúnar Erlingsson (Rooney the Ripper)
Utangarðsmenn became renown in Iceland by means of extensive press coverage and several gigs, including three at Laugardalshöll, Iceland’s biggest sports arena, where one of the gigs they performed was as supporting band for The Clash.
(13) Outsiders was a Swedish band active during the mid-late sixties.
(14) The Outsiders were a South African Alternative/New Wave/Gothic band releasing at least two albums:

The lyrics to The Outsider’s song “Won’t You Listen” are a mix of Korean and English, but the overall message is clear: keep moving forward and never give up hope. The verses describe the struggles and challenges of life, but also a determination to keep going. The chorus repeats the phrase “keep going” and emphasizes the importance of perseverance. The song ends with a repetition of the opening lines, suggesting that the cycle of life and its challenges never truly ends, but we can adapt and find strength to face them.
One interesting fact about the song is that it was released as part of a project called “Faded Memory,” which aimed to explore the memories and experiences of young people in Korea. The project consisted of an album, a webtoon, and a short film, all of which were produced by a team of young creatives. The song itself features a mix of genres, including hip-hop, rock, and electronic music.
Another interesting fact is that the music video for “Won’t You Listen” features footage of protests against the South Korean government’s decision to deploy a U.S. missile defense system. The video juxtaposes images of police brutality and political unrest with shots of young people dancing and enjoying life. The message seems to be that despite the challenges of social and political upheaval, youth culture and creativity can still thrive.
Overall, “Won’t You Listen” is a powerful and uplifting song that encourages listeners to keep pushing forward despite the difficulties of life. Its blend of musical genres and languages makes it a unique and interesting piece of art.
Chords: Unfortunately, the chords for this song are not readily available.
