Antidote
The Parachute Dilemma Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Climbing up the walls
Running through the streets
Jumping off the rocks
Swinging from the trees
Bruised and bloody knees
And my legs are weak
Falling from the clouds
Sinking underneath
Gonna run away
Gotta run away
Looking for our youth
The hands of time
Around our throat
Weigh you down
Try not to choke
The hands of time
Around our throat
Your innocence
The antidote
The hands of time
Around our throat
Weigh you down
Try not to choke
Time, time, around our throat
Your soul the antidote
Time, time, around our throat
Your soul the antidote
The lyrics of The Parachute Dilemma's song Antidote talk about the pressures of growing up and the search for youth again. The stanza "Dancing in the mud, climbing up the walls, running through the streets. Jumping off the rocks, swinging from the trees, bruised and bloody knees" talks about the carefree and adventurous spirit of one's youth. However, the following stanza "Now my hands are raw, and my legs are weak, falling from the clouds, sinking underneath" suggests that this sense of adventure may have taken a toll on one's physical and emotional well-being. This links to growing up, as you begin to experience the consequences of your actions.
The chorus "The hands of time around our throat, weigh you down, try not to choke. Your innocence, the antidote" is a metaphor for how growing up comes with pressure and responsibility. The "hands of time" symbolize the passing of time and the feeling of time running out. The line "your innocence, the antidote" suggests that one can find solace in holding on to the nostalgia of their youth, represented by innocence. It is a reminder to not let the pressures of growing up define your life and that it is important to remember your youth as a source of positivity and inspiration.
Overall, The Parachute Dilemma's song Antidote is an emotional and thoughtful reflection on the struggle of growing up and its impacts on physical and emotional well-being. It highlights the importance of holding on to the spirit of youth and nostalgia as a reminder of the beauty in life that can be so easily forgotten.

Please don't believe anyone at face value - what we thought news used to be was both sides of the story presented - you go to school and get an education get your brain working eventually you figure it out for yourself.
That's why liberals took over education, the media, internet.. but don't let them stop you from thinking for yourselves.
We're not getting this other perspective - we're on a Hindi channel. Not USA.
Over the course of my lifetime as I gather wrinkles, I've learned to follow economic history through being an economist. Eventually money trails leave tracks.

The only problem with that is... They are all corrupt, to begin with!! So who knows if they will take a real one or a fake one!!!
This is why so many got it!! They trusted them!!! Very sad to watch so many bow down to theirs lies, and deceit!!!
But not this soul!!! I'll trust God above man any day!!!

I agree, all those who are trying to force us to take the vaccine need to take the vaccine themselves. There was so many people that are not required to take it like those who work in the White House and the employees of the vaccine manufacturers are not required to take it interesting is it not
