Here it is May,2021 and we have been almost married 60 years on this Sept 16, 2021. She was 18 years old and quite a knock out, I won $2.00 from each 5 of my High school buddies that stated; " Jerry, she will never go out with you and we will bet you two dollars on that statement. Well, I collected $2.00 each from those five guys, and that paid for the movies and the food that Saturday night. This blonde won my Heart and full devotion from that Colls High School that night from me. We had three children and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren from this union . Still in LOVE with her today. God has surely Blessed my life with her as my partner in life.

I love this song !! I'm 41 years old now. But when I was a kid my dad was a jukebox repairman we had seabergs rock-ola's and of course the Wurlitzer. I loved throwing a nickel or dime in the slot playing my favorite records! Oh what a beautiful time in my life !! Not knowing what was in store. My dad died when I was 15 of cancer. My parents, both gone now, are once again, dancing together in the kitchen, smiling as they did back then, but then... the song ends and I realize it's just a memory. I feel your pain although I wasn’t in your harsh surroundings. It was in the 60s, no text msgs etc. + telephone calls were expensive. My fiancé was due to be discharged from t airforce at long last but he didn’t return from Calif to NY when he was supposed to. I called his sister + she was surprised, “He didn’t tell you?” “What?” I asked. “He got married + asked for an extension?” I was numb as I lay in bed … the TV was on. Robert Kennedy was shot dead. It was June 6, 1968. Life goes on by the grace of God …🙏💕
