Who ever got judged for where they lived
Who ever got judged for being sad
Who ever grew up without a dad
This song goes out to every kid
Who ever got judged for what they did
Who ever had clothes that didn't fit
Who ever's still fightin' and killin' it
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This song goes out to every kid
Who ever got judged for where they lived
Who ever got judged for being sad
Who ever grew up without a dad
This song goes out to every kid
Who ever got judged for what they did
Who ever had clothes that didn't fit
Who ever's still fightin' and killin' it
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This song goes out to every kid
Who never had anyone to tell them
It'll be alright
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
This right here is the story of
All the kids who never had enough
All the kids who kept it inside
Let's save the children that were left behind
The Parties' song "Children" is a tribute to every kid who has ever been judged, marginalized or left behind. The song is an anthem for all the kids who have had a tough life, who have grown up without love and support, who have been bullied or neglected. The song is a call to action to save the children who have been left behind and to provide them with the love and support that they need to thrive.
The lyrics are simple yet powerful, with a heartfelt and universal message. The repetition of the phrase "this right here is the story of all the kids who never had enough" reinforces the idea that there are countless children out there who are struggling and need help. The chorus "let's save the children that were left behind" is a call to action to do better and support the kids who need it most.
The song also highlights the different forms of judgement and marginalization that kids can experience, from being judged for where they live or what they wear to growing up without a dad or anyone to tell them "it'll be alright". The song serves as a reminder that no matter what challenges a child may face, they deserve love and support.
