1. The most well-known group is a Swedish indie rock band. The band began in 1997 composed of six members, since 2001 it has consisted of Ola Klüft (vocals, guitar), Martin Gustafson (keyboards, backing vocals), Pehr Åström (bass), and Thomas Hedlund (drums).
Although they have not had a major commercial breakthrough yet, they do have a fanbase that stretches across Europe and North America. They've had several songs appear in episodes of some popular American television programs: Grey's Anatomy, The OC, Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, 16 and Pregnant, and Greek. Their song Sway also plays on the "College rock" station in the Sims 2. Also of note is the fact that Sarah Isaksson (Klüft's former vocal teacher) is a featured artist on their song Pills.
Since 2011, Ola Klüft has been performing solo under the name A Lanky Swede. Thomas Hedlund has been seen playing drums for Phoenix during their North American Tour.

The Perishers Lyrics

On a Sunday close to midnight
For I needed time alone
In the car that same day
I had heard your ego talking
I could tell you'd be okay
We could be victorious
Once again victorious
You keep running, tempting fate
Still not old but growing older
On your way but running late
You know me I'll be fine
Life is short I know the feeling
Just call me if you change your mind
Victorious, victorious
We could be victorious
Once again victorious
Victorious, victorious
We could be victorious
Once again victorious
Victorious, victorious
We could be victorious
Once again victorious
Victorious, victorious
We could be victorious
Once again victorious
One last time victorious
Then never again victorious
The lyrics of The Perishers' song “Victorious” describe a sense of independence and self-reliance in the wake of romantic disappointment. The singer of the song is dealing with a recent break-up, and decides to spend some time alone to process their emotions. The opening verse describes this personal retreat, as the singer drives home late at night to be by themselves. The second verse hints at the reasons for the breakup, with the singer hearing their former partner's ego talking in the car that same day. Despite this, the singer feels confident that they will be okay, knowing that they can find a sense of victory and closure on their own.
The chorus of the song reiterates this theme of self-reliance and victory, exclaiming that “we could be victorious” and that they will be “once again victorious”. The singer is convinced that they can overcome their heartbreak and move forward, and is open to the idea of reconciliation with their ex but is content in moving on if it doesn't happen. The final lines of the song, “One last time victorious / Then never again victorious,” suggest that the singer is ready to put this chapter of their life behind them after finding their own sense of triumph.

on Trouble Sleeping
I’m having trouble sleeping
You’re jumping in my bed
Twisting in my head
Leave me
I’m having trouble breathing
You’re sitting on my chest
I sure could use the rest
Leave me
It’s you
君さ
Why’s it always you
and never me?
I’ve never dared to let
my feelings free
Why’s it always you
and never me?
I’ve never cared
too much about honesty
I’m having trouble sleeping
I’m thinking of what you said
About the tears been shed
Leave me
It’s you
それは君
Now and always you
but never me
I’ve never dared to
let my feelings free
Why’s it always you
and never me?
I’ve never cared
too much about honesty
