They supported Dirty Pretty Things whilst they toured in spring 2006. In early November 2006 they supported fellow West Yorkshire band Kaiser Chiefs, who are known to be fans of the band, on a number of occasions around Europe. On 8 July 2007, they played on the Radio 1 NME Stage in front of thousands at T in the Park. The performance was televised and shown later that day on BBC3.
They performed a secret gig at leeds festival 08 on the Thursday night following in the kaisers foot steps

In "Caught In Your Trap" by The Pigeon Detectives, the singer is fixated on someone who is known to be promiscuous. Though they know this person is not trustworthy and sleeps around, they cannot get them out of their head. They feel trapped in their own infatuation with this person, even though it brings them nothing but trouble. The singer begins with admitting that this person is always on their mind, even though they know they shouldn't care. They acknowledge that this person isn't faithful and is seen around town with others. But still, they cannot shake the feeling of wanting to be with them.
The chorus repeats the idea that the singer will inevitably get caught in this person's trap but reassures themselves that they will be okay. They know they will be hurt in the future, but they want to live in the moment and can't resist this person's captivating nature. In the final verse, the singer recounts a fight with this person that ended in them being blamed for their injury. The lyrics suggest that they're aware of their poor decision-making skills, but they are still drawn in by their personal feelings.
