1) The Plan is the brainchild of Swedish singer Theodor Jensen, otherwise known to Swedish pop audiences as the guitarist of cult band Broder Daniel. To date they have released three albums to moderate success in their native Sweden. While the band began as a four piece featuring Jensen along with organist Mikael Furugärde, bass player Peter Morén (of the more internationally famous Peter Bjorn and John) and drummer Niklas Forsell, Jensen is now the only member left.
2) The Plan is a Canadian mathcore outfit with Michael Catano from North of America. Influenced by the noisy post-punk from San Diego and Chicago math-rock, The Plan got together in the spring of 1999 as a side project for North of America vocalist/guitarist Michael Catano and Led By Regret bassist Mackenzie Ogilvie. After guitarist David Harrison and drummer Jon Hutt were recruited, the quartet played around their Halifax hometown and quickly signed to Matlock Records. Lance Purcell eventually took drum positions in time to release the Plan's first album, This Time Is not This Place, in 2000.
3) The Plan are also Cliff Thomas and Jon MacNish who release nice quality Detroit Techno music on a sublabel of Submerge Recordings and that sublabel also has the name The Plan.
From Boomkat:
Bringing the Past, Present, and Future together, comes the newest label from the Submerge family, THE PLAN. Having a sound that draws from their own personal experience of growing up in the Detroit area, Jonathan MacNish and Cliff Thomas, are some of the first artists at Submerge that have grown up hearing Detroit Techno. 8 Miles Wide chugs in with funky drums and emotional synth timbers while 4-Bit Logic is more of an elastic sounding dancefloor affair with its driving bass and percussion.
Autumn
The Plan Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Go back again from a long blank summer
Autumn wind
Blow life again in this dead end, autumn
Walk along these wet streets
Soldier you don't know your enemy
Autumn
Autumn nights
On a thin line I don't see no one
Autumn days
You got all the way autumn, I'm game
Autumn
Stroll along these dead streets
Soldier you don't know your enemy
Autumn sights, it's never daylight but I'm alright
Autumn
The lyrics of The Plan's song "Autumn" evoke a sense of melancholy and introspection, reflecting on the passing of time and the changing of seasons. The opening lines speak of the end of a long blank summer and the return of autumn rain and wind, which breathe new life into what may have seemed like a dead end. The metaphor of autumn leaves falling and dying with "bad lies" implies a sense of regret or guilt, perhaps connected to the passing of time and missed opportunities.
The second verse refers to the feeling of isolation and detachment in autumn nights, walking alone on a thin line and not seeing anyone. The repetition of "autumn, I'm game" suggests a willingness to embrace this sense of detachment and introspection, as if the singer is resigned to the passing of time and the inevitability of change.
The final lines of the song offer a glimmer of hope, with the assertion that even in the darkening autumn sights, "it's never daylight but I'm alright." This suggests that while the passing of time and the changing of seasons may bring a sense of sadness or loss, there is also the potential for acceptance and resilience in the face of change.

I LOVE fall spreads - I did them in September and early October though haha. I only did one Halloween spread, not because I don't like Halloween, but because I had so many good fall kits that I wanted to use!

Do you use all gold scripts with copper foil or do you use the script sampler that comes with the wiggle at all?
kirstenmichelle
I'm usually pretty lazy so for the past two spreads I only pulled in gold scripts!
