The Point Lyrics

I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
And I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I fear no evil for thou art here
I walk
Every day I walk
And I walk
I walk
I walk
And I walk with the beat of a different drum
I can see the day when kingdom comes
And I won't forget the ones that came before
So I walk
I walk
I walk
I walk
And I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I fear no man cause you are here
And I walk until the day is done
I walk
And I walk
And I walk
I walk
I walk
And I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I fear no man cause you are here
And I walk until the day is done
I walk
And I walk
And I walk
I walk
I walk
The repeating phrase "I walk" in The Point's song "Come On" serves as a musical and lyrical representation of persistence, determination, and faith. While the song contains only a few lines, each one is packed with significant meaning. The first mention of "the valley of the shadow of death" alludes to Psalm 23 and the fear that can come with life's challenges. However, the singer declares that they have no fear because God is with them. The repetition of "I walk" throughout the song underscores the idea that the journey is ongoing, and the act of moving forward is vital.
As the song continues, the lyrics become more hopeful. The singer walks "with the beat of a different drum," which could represent the path of personal growth or individuality. They also express the desire to honor those who have come before, indicating a respect for history and tradition. The final line of the song, "And I walk until the day is done," reiterates the unwavering determination to continue moving forward, even when faced with difficulties.
Overall, The Point's "Come On" is a song about perseverance and faith, with a message that can apply to many different situations in life. The simple but resonant lyrics, combined with the repetitive melody, create a powerful and memorable track.
