That is a great record.. I like the other side of that as well, Kingdom Of Love. I think The Preludes was a common group name. There was also at least one California group called The Preludes that recorded a fantastic song called Don't Fall In Love Too Soon on the Empire label

They are technically both.. The 5 was stamped on by the record company. A collector I know remembers this group being from Brooklyn. There was also a Preludes (I believe from Brooklyn) that recorded on Arliss in the same year, and I don't think they're the same group. That could be the cause of the stamp. I've seen a red and black label with them just known as The Preludes and I've seen the above variation. Not sure if any white label copies got out without the 5 stamp.
