Formed in 1978 in London, the original band Hynde, lead and rhythm guitarist James Honeyman-Scott (died 1982), bassist Pete Farndon (died 1983), and drummer Martin Chambers. Save for Hynde, a native of Akron, Ohio, the original band members were all from the U.K. This band was fractured by the drug-related deaths of Honeyman-Scott and Farndon. Since then, numerous subsequent personnel changes have taken place over the years, with Hynde as the sole constant.
With Hynde at the helm, the band experienced a critical resurgence with a trio of albums released between the mid-90s and early 00s that explored a more mature side of the band’s classic sound.
In 2008, the Pretenders' album Break Up the Concrete was released through Shangri-La Music. It was the band's first Top 40 album in the US in 22 years.
In September 2012, as part of the entertainment line-up for the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix, the Pretenders re-grouped with Hynde and Chambers from the original line-up, along with Nick Wilkinson, James Walbourne and Eric Heywood.
All My Dreams
The Pretenders Lyrics

Still relive you
If this is what you left for me
I forgive you
Never do I despair
When I kneel to say my prayers
When slumber fills my head
I'll be visiting your bed
All my dreams
Recollect you
And so darling in a way
Our love remains new
Funny little things
You touch my fingers and fondle my rings
Then tenderly without violence
We make love in perfect silence
Come, come into my room again
Come, come again
Oh come, come into my gloom again
End this solitude again
I finally took that picture down
I'd been staring at it for hours and hours
Slipping in and out of consciousness
But what I can't figure out
Why did you do that?
Disappear on me like that?
Oh baby please come back where I can touch you
Right here where I can see you
Come, come into my room again
Come, come again
Oh come, come into my gloom again
Break, break this solitude again
All of my dreams of your affection
Never have I known
Such sweet perfection
No drug-induced bliss
Could ever reach the heights of this
Eternal and so pure
Help me to endure
All my dreams
The Pretenders' "All my Dreams" is a love song that explores the theme of lost love and the yearning to be reunited with the significant other. The lyrics convey the message that even though the love has ended, the memories and dreams of the past still linger on, and the person is unable to forget the other. The opening line, "All my dreams still relive you," suggests that the person's dreams are filled with memories of their past love. The following line, "If this is what you left for me, I forgive you," indicates the hurt and confusion felt by the person, but they have managed to reach a point of forgiveness.
The chorus of the song highlights the longing to be reunited with the person, as the singer pleads, "Come, come into my room again. Come, come again. Oh come, come into my gloom again. End this solitude again." The line, "Our love remains new," further emphasizes that even though the relationship has ended, the love still feels fresh and not faded. The second verse describes the intimate moments the couple shared, with "funny little things" like the partner touching the singer's fingers and fondling their rings. The description of making love in perfect silence reveals the intimacy and emotional connection the couple shared.
Overall, the song captures the emotional turmoil felt by someone who has lost their love, and the intense longing felt for them. The lyrics are poignant and relatable and give the audience an insight into the complexities of the human heart.

I don't think this song will do for a studio album.
It's because of the producer, George Acogny. He's the song producer of the movie.
