Now I'm a rhythm beats in your heart
My lights is burning, burning devotions
I feel the memories for the floor
Dance to remember
I'm dancing to forget, you're beautiful (you're beautiful)
You dance to remember
Smoke machine and cigarettes
Smoke machine and cigarettes
Smoke machine and cigarettes
I love you on the dance floor only in the neonlights
(with all your wrong, with all your right)
I love you on the dance floor only for the sight of the night
(let me go, hold me tight)
In the neon-neon-neonlights
In the neon-neon-neonlights
We are lovers rather directions
I'd say hearts are beating to the trunk
Unforgiveness and I am seductions
We will be strangers by the end of the song
Dance to remember
I'm dancing to forget, you're beautiful (you're beautiful)
You dance to remember
I'm dancing to forget, you're beautiful
Smoke machine and cigarettes
Smoke machine and cigarettes
Smoke machine and cigarettes
I love you on the dance floor only in the neonlights
(with all your wrong, with all your right)
I love you on the dance floor only for the sight of the night
(let me go, hold me tight)
In the neon-neon-neonlights
In the neon-neon-neonlights
Now the pride in the neonlights
Come my heart in the neonlights
So we pay, found we sway, and we pray to the sight
and we dance, and we dance, and we dance in the neonlights
I love you on the dance floor only in the neonlights
(with all your wrong, with all your right)
I love you on the dance floor only for the sight of the night
(let me go, hold me tight)
I love you on the dance floor only in the neonlights
(with all your wrong, with all your right)
I love you on the dance floor only for the sight of the night
(let me go, hold me tight)
In the neon-neon-neonlights
In the neon-neon-neonlights
In the neon-neon-neonlights

Neonlights
The lyrics of "Neon Lights" by The RIO Girls encapsulate the bittersweet nature of love and the transient realm of dance. The opening lines set up a dynamic where the relationships between lovers are portrayed as fluid and constantly evolving, suggesting a passionate connection that thrives on movement and rhythm. The phrase "I’m a rhythm beats in your heart" implies an intimate and profound bond, where the singer feels intertwined with their partner's emotions and vitality. This connection is underscored by the metaphor of burning lights, which symbolize the intensity of their devotion and the longing for shared memories—"I feel the memories for the floor." Here, "the floor" represents a metaphorical space where love and memories come alive, indicating that dancing is not just physical movement, but also an expression of deeper emotional ties.
As the narrative unfolds, the contrasting themes of remembering and forgetting come into play. The chorus, with its repetition of "Dance to remember / I’m dancing to forget," highlights the dichotomy of nostalgia and the desire to escape pain. The act of dancing serves as both a recollection of beautiful moments shared and a means to cope with the heartache of separation or loss. The phrase "you’re beautiful" becomes emblematic of the conflicted feelings that can arise when one is caught between admiration and sadness. This juxtaposition reflects the complexity of human relationships, where beauty can be intertwined with sorrow, illustrating how memories can haunt while also providing comfort.
The imagery of "smoke machine and cigarettes" invokes a sense of nightlife and urban escapism, highlighting the atmosphere in which these emotional exchanges occur. Within the backdrop of pulsating neon lights, which are symbolic of excitement and allure, the dance floor becomes a sanctuary where characters can express and explore their feelings for one another. Neons represent fleeting moments—the superficial thrill of night life —while also grounding the deeper emotional currents flowing beneath the surface. This association enables listeners to visualize a vibrant scene filled with life, yet tinged with the melancholy of love that exists only in ephemeral moments.
Ultimately, the refrain of "I love you on the dance floor only in the neon lights" emphasizes the notion that love, like the glow of neon, can be dazzling but also temporary and sometimes illusory. The repetition intensifies the longing and urgency of the feelings expressed, suggesting a relationship that thrives in the instant but may not endure outside this context. The closing lines reiterate a sense of surrender and acceptance in these ephemeral moments—“let me go, hold me tight”—as the singer navigates the complexities of love, loss, and the vibrant, chaotic world that surrounds them. In summation, "Neon Lights" beautifully captures the vibrant interplay of love and memory within the charged environment of nightlife, where profound connections are forged, even as they brim with uncertainty.

Nur wegen Bonnie Hier😄
@CyberSimsShows
Why are there so many dislikes?? They are beautiful and amazing singers... why don't people like them? I don't get it.
@alinedesiree8171
the people think, they don't have the right to sing a song because they're models... don't get it either
@CyberSimsShows
Aline Desirée That's ridiculous. They're actually good. Who cares if they model too
@betzoarr
Oh yeah sure, this is the reason.. it isn't because they just CAN'T sing...It is because they are models.. You forgot to insinuate that everybody who dislikes this is just jealous, maybe because he or she is ugly and wants to be so talented and beautiful as they are...yaawn....
@Marc-zi5cq
@@betzoarr They are in tune and fit the song so why are you saying they can't sing? No one said they were Whitney Houston Prime but in Pop/ Dance/ House music i have heard songs, you don't need to be. Do you really dislike them because they don't belt out like Christina Aguilera? Vocally they are no worse than Nena.
@betzoarr
@@Marc-zi5cq It is not about they cant sing like Christina Aguilera, I personally am not a fan of hers too, for me it matters which message music transports and this is just not honest enough in my opinion and way too generic.
I'm a fan from bands/artists like Pentagram, Siouxsie and the Banshees or Rory Gallagher. For me this is music that comes right out of the soul and is not a "statement" like this.
But hey, 5 years have passed by and I pretty don't care anymore about artists like them. Everybody can do whatever he or she or it wants to.

@betzoarr
