You don't know what it means and what it's like
You close your eyes, you're afraid that all you
Have learned has changed
Time waits for no one
You can't fix it if you try
Time waits for no one
Once put into your brain
All the things of life got a special frame
But you forget that this world's go a different
Face each day
Time waits for no one
You can't fix it if you try
Time waits for no one
You can join it for a little while
You can join it till you die
"What's this jungle noise?
Long haired filthy boys?
Sex before marriage?
You don't believe in the pope?!
Time waits for no one
The Rage's song "Wait" delves into the theme of time and how it waits for no one. The lyrics bring out the singer's perspective of how change is inevitable and how life is dynamic. The singer is addressing those who are afraid of change and are resistant to it. When he says "You don't like what you see, You don't know what it means and what it's like," he is pointing out that the person is unable to see the potential in the change.
The line "Once put into your brain, all the things of life got a special frame" suggests that everyone has an outlook and perspective of life that they have developed over time. The frame helps people interpret and make sense of the experiences they have had. However, as the singer points out, the world changes, and so should our framework. When one is unwilling to accept change, they lose the ability to adapt to these new realities.
The song's chorus focuses on time's impact, stating that "Time waits for no one, You can't fix it if you try." This line emphasizes the fact that time is an unstoppable force that can't be controlled or managed. Therefore, the singer suggests that it is better to embrace change and be part of the change than resist it.
Overall, The Rage's song "Wait" has a simple message: to embrace change and be part of it rather than resist it. The message is delivered in a powerful and engaging manner, making it an excellent song to listen to, especially for those going through personal changes or transitions.

Naomi's head nodding and twitching makes me laugh. I don't know why but her anger combined with the quick jerky movements of her head justmake me laugh. I don't know how any of the other actors didn't laugh.

In the DVD, there's footage of her audition, and the casting crew is dying laughing. The shaky cigarette: awesome. So overdone, but so great. Physical humor. Almost slapstick in delivery.
