I Left My Heart In San Francisco
The Rat Pack Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I left my heart in San Francisco.
High on a hill it calls to me
to be where little cable cars
climb halfway to the stars!
The morning fog may chill the air,
I don't care!
My love waits there in San Francisco,
above the blue and windy sea.
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
your golden sun will shine for me!

I left my heart in San Francisco.
High on a hill it calls to me
to be where little cable cars
climb halfway to the stars!
The morning fog may chill the air,
I don't care!
My love waits there in San Francisco,

above the blue and windy sea.
When I come home to you, San Francisco,

I first heard this recording almost twenty years and it never fails to make me laugh at 2:42 where he quickly recovers his place in the song. Oh... to greatness!

I have this CD and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to get it. There is a part of it where him, Frank and Sammy are taking the mick out of each other and laughing cracking jokes at each other. Havent stopped listening to it since I had it a year ago as a gift.
