Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul
Frosty the Snowman was a very cheerful snowman

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

Frosty the Snowman is just a story, as people claim

He was made of snow, but the children know
Although Frosty was made of snow, the children knew the story of how he came to life

How he came to life one day
The children knew the tale of how Frosty became alive

There must have been some magic in

The old silk hat they found
The used silk hat they discovered from somewhere

For when they placed it on his head
When the children put the hat on the top of his head

He began to dance around
Frosty reacted by starting to dance around

Oh, Frosty the Snowman was alive as he could be
Frosty had come to life and was full of life and energy

And the children say he could laugh and play
According to the children, Frosty could giggle and enjoy himself

Frosty the Snowman knew the sun was hot that day
Frosty was aware that it was a hot day with the sun shining bright

So he said let's run, and we'll have some fun
Therefore, he suggested running around and having fun instead

Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand
With a broomstick he found, he headed towards the village

Running here and there all around the square
While running around the village square

Saying catch me if you can
During this time, he would challenge others to try and catch him if they could

He led them down the streets of town
He marched them on the streets of the town

Right to the traffic cop
Until they eventually met the traffic cop

And he only paused a moment
Frosty just stopped moving for a small moment

When he heard him holler, Stop
When the traffic cop shouted to him, "Stop"

For Frosty the Snowman had to hurry on his way
As he had to move on, with no time to waste

But he waved goodbye saying don't you cry
As he left, he waved and reassured them not to be upset

I'll be back again someday
Frosty promised to return again one day
