The Rendering is a metalcore band consisting of vocalist Eric VanAcker, bas… Read Full Bio ↴The Rendering is a metalcore band consisting of vocalist Eric VanAcker, bassist Andrew Reid, and guitarists Alex Chepalis, Nick Kunz and drummer Andy Pettit out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

The band was formed in late 2009 in Glendale, Arizona by Eric VanAcker, Aaron Nichols and Dan Marinaro. They later added Andrew Reid to the lineup. In 2010, the band released their debut EP, "Protector". After several lineup changes, the band broke up in 2010 to pursue other interests. Dan and Eric played with City In The Sea until Eric parted ways with the band in 2011 to pursue a Rendering reunion.

The band reunited with new members, Alex Chepalis on guitar, former bassist of This, My Vendetta and Nick Kunz in late 2011, joined the Powerline Management roster, and performed their first return show at the Marquee Theatre.

In April, The Rendering announced the addition of drummer Andy Pettit, also formerly of This, My Vendetta, to their lineup. The Rendering released their EP, "Voices"
