Move On
The Rentals Lyrics

et's get up and leave this town
i just wanna go right now
once we get outta here
no one will notice that we disappeared

so whataya say we go right now
get away from everyone that hangs around
this seems so insincere
so why dont we just leave them here
and move on
moooo oove on
move on
moooo oove on

we'll find some new place nice
some of the city or the countryside(countryside)
we'll make new friends in time
we'll pack up a say good bye
and move on
moooo oove on
move on
moooo oove on
move on

it's been six long years
six years of hanging about without a care
it dont matter where we go
anywhere is better i know
somewhere else

moooo oove on
move on
moooo oove on
move on
moooo oove on
move on
moooo hoove on

come on let's get away
so far away
come on let's run away, run away
run away today ah ah ah oh

moooo oove on
move on
moooo oove on
move on
moooo oove on
moooo hoove on
moooo hoove on
moooo hoove on

One of my favorite albums. Played no stop through high school. damn I'm getting old.

Outsiders Edge

Same. I do feel really old though guys... Started dating a girl in her early 20s recently and realizing theres like a 13 year gap makes me feel so old. She doesn't know any of this kind of music.

Getting old is weird. I don't feel any different. I'm me, I feel like the same me that I did 15 years ago. There's no switch that just gets flipped one day for you, you know? But everyone else starts to perceive you as old.

Cotton-headed Ninnymuggins

Nah bro. My name is Pryse. Everyone called me P. So naturally I had to buy this album. Also huge weezer fan. We're not getting old my man. We're getting good!

Outsiders Edge

This song has gotten me through some hard times. The relationship I was in when I got this record ended after six years which was an eerie coincidence considering the reference to six years in the lyrics. It's helped me since as well. Love this song. Thank you Matt.

I woulda never have given this a chance without my late nephew introducing me to this awesome album. It was and still is unlike anything else I had heard. Masterpeice.

Sorry about your nephew. What’s cool is that by you sharing that, he kinda lives on because everytime I listen to this I will take a minute to think of him. What was his name? 🥰

this is the first CD I ever bought on an absolute whim...I've never had the same ignorant blissful joy from any other album...Thanks, Matt!
