With rich vocal harmonies, twin saxes and a rhythm section inspired by the funk and soul of Detroit & Memphis the band are unique amongst their contemporaries. Live performances mix the passion of James Brown, the spirit of Dexy’s, and the big sound of Arcade Fire whilst also embracing a more tender sound inspired by Burt Bacharach and Jimmy Webb.
"The Resplendents are a rare thing these days... Combining the raw energy of Ike and Tina with the laid back vibe of Otis Redding, it makes a nice treat from the usual brand of Libertines wannabes." The Big Issue
The Resplendents released their debut record, the Quetzal EP, in March to great reviews. Opening with the instant 3-minute pop of ‘Another spin of the wheel’, through the soulful ‘Better than this’ to the unmistakable floor shaking sound of ‘Fall out with the in-crowd’, it was "made for listening to whilst sipping rum and cokes in the sunshine" according to No-Title Magazine.
“Band of the night, however, must surely be The Resplendents. Although the billing of this gig is equal, from the minute The Resplendents take the stage with their saxophone-aided jazziness, they feel like the headline band.” Sandman Magazine
The band’s follow up EP, ‘6 Years, 3 Months and 14 Days’ will is now available

@@tomasokolov5886 I’m sorry but I don’t believe that. You definitely destroyed some Ubers.
@zebrajenks
blizzard needs to make it where you can craft uniques with legendaries and ubers with uniques. If they did that people would play way more.
@silencerstudent9381
LET ME TAKE all my useless uniques and turn them into an uber, also let us trade ubers like in last epoch

But that would make Ubers way too easily available. They are still supposed to be RARE. That’s why they’re doing these dumb ideas. Because all the “good” ideas would make Ubers too easy to find and no one would struggle finding them or make builds without them
