Talk about my baby
A little Latin Lupelu
She's a hot footin' baby
There ain't no dance she couldn´t do
She's my groovy little baby
A little Latin Lupelu

A Bopa Bopa Lupelu
A shake it, shake it, shake it, Lupe
Wahtusi pretty baby
C'mon and do the who-chee-coo
Magic love, pretty baby
A little Latin Lupelu

And if you wanna do the twist
The Lupelu can put it down
If you Wah Wahtusi
She's the best for miles around
She's my mash potato baby
A little Latin Lupelu

A Bopa Bopa Lupelu
A shake it, shake it, shake it, Lupe
Wahtusi pretty baby
C'mon and do the who-chee-coo
Magic love, pretty baby
A little Latin Lupelu

One, one more time
A shake it, shake it, shake it Lupe
Wahtusi pretty baby
C'mon and do the who-chee-coo
Magic love, pretty baby
A little Latin Lupelu

A little Latin Lupelu

I was 12 years old in 1962. I walked from my home to the local Social Security office to get my Social Security card. I just started my first real job working part-time for a local egg distributor candling and sorting eggs. The room I worked in was small and dark except for the little light that was used to candle the eggs. I had a small AM radio tuned, probably, to KRLA and this song came on. It was the first time I had heard it but it has had a lasting impression and it is a very fond memory of mine.

Linda Cooper

I did that job too.

This one simple oldie but goodie beats every single new song on the market today. Depth, soul, arrangement, vocals, lyrics, pure joy and fun!

This is such a sad " my generation was better" comment. To say nothing is as good as this today is so stupid and naive.
