A true breakbeat fan, his trademark sound is a distinctive dance floor mash up of many diverse elements old and new. Influences include anything he thinks he can get away with stealing, more rock from his murky past than he is comfortable with admitting, plus numerous contemporary dance artists like the Plumps, Freq Nasty and (inevitably) The Prodigy.

He also consistently rocks major venues worldwide from europe and the united states to the far east and Australia. In addition, Ben is one half of Disco of Doom with Tom Real, a project dedicated to all kinds of disgusting house, techno, and general electronic depravity.

Aside from creating his own original soundscapes, The Rogue Element has teamed up to concoct countless superb remixes of tracks by bands like Crystal Method, The Freestylers, Soul of Man, and more.
