1. The Roosters (ザ・ルースターズ ) was a legendary Japanese rock band, active from 1978 to 1988. Originally, the group mixed punk with rock 'n' roll, but eventually branched out to include elements of gothic rock, post-punk, ska, new wave and folk. In 1999, a tribute album called "Respectable Roosters" was released. Some of the featured artists on the tribute album include Thee Michelle Gun Elephant , The Pillows and Supercar . The band reunited in 2004 to perform at the Fuji Rock festival.
2. The Roosters were a band from Warsaw. At the beginning there were only: Bartek, Toy and Jacek but Faiver joined the band immediately. The Roosters went through several personal changes. For some time Oskar of V/A Team sung as a lead vocalist, Jacek was replaced for approximately year and a half by Janek of Blog 27 and Toy left the band while the spring tour of 2007 for personal reasons. Finally the Roosters settled with Faiver(guitar/vocals), Bartek (guitar/vocals), Dere(bass), Piotrek(drums) . Since then no one left or joined the band. In the early spring of 2007 after signing a record contract with Warsaw City Rockers Records- the Roosters managed to release their début EP Roosters Republic. The Roosters sound is diverse. While trying to achieve an 'American punk' sound, the band was experimenting with genders like ska, pop, hardcore and electro. The Roosters played a lot of shows in Poland, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Recently the band recorded their début LP Guns Up and signed a record deal with Rockers Publishing. The album will be available in stores all over Poland in February.

Passenger
Your voice
Passenger
Oh Passenger……
The lyrics to The Roosters' song "Passenger" depict a tale of a troubled soul who is calling out to someone from the shadows. The opening lines of "闇に呼んだYour name" (called out your name in the darkness) set the tone for the song. The singer, through the course of the song, implores the listener to chase after a fleeting, capricious passenger. The song, with its driving rhythm and haunting melody, creates an atmosphere that is both intense and despairing, perfect for the story it tells.
The lyrics are filled with metaphors like "table with 7 numbers" and "passenger," which further add to the mystery of the piece. The "7 numbers" on the table could represent a game of chance or fate. The chorus "乾いた胸を討て" (conquer the dry chest) indicates that the singer is trying to overcome some emotional turmoil or past trauma.
The song ends with the words "最後の銃を取れ" (take the last gun), where the singer takes control of his or her fate and decides to face the challenges head-on, even if it means using drastic measures. The lyrics are open to interpretation, but the emotions behind the words are raw and palpable, making "Passenger" a hauntingly beautiful piece of music.
