1. The Roosters (ザ・ルースターズ ) was a legendary Japanese rock band, active from 1978 to 1988. Originally, the group mixed punk with rock 'n' roll, but eventually branched out to include elements of gothic rock, post-punk, ska, new wave and folk. In 1999, a tribute album called "Respectable Roosters" was released. Some of the featured artists on the tribute album include Thee Michelle Gun Elephant , The Pillows and Supercar . The band reunited in 2004 to perform at the Fuji Rock festival.
2. The Roosters were a band from Warsaw. At the beginning there were only: Bartek, Toy and Jacek but Faiver joined the band immediately. The Roosters went through several personal changes. For some time Oskar of V/A Team sung as a lead vocalist, Jacek was replaced for approximately year and a half by Janek of Blog 27 and Toy left the band while the spring tour of 2007 for personal reasons. Finally the Roosters settled with Faiver(guitar/vocals), Bartek (guitar/vocals), Dere(bass), Piotrek(drums) . Since then no one left or joined the band. In the early spring of 2007 after signing a record contract with Warsaw City Rockers Records- the Roosters managed to release their début EP Roosters Republic. The Roosters sound is diverse. While trying to achieve an 'American punk' sound, the band was experimenting with genders like ska, pop, hardcore and electro. The Roosters played a lot of shows in Poland, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Recently the band recorded their début LP Guns Up and signed a record deal with Rockers Publishing. The album will be available in stores all over Poland in February.

Rosie
What do you wanna do
Please tell me Rosie
Rosie
Rosie
What do you gonna do
Please tell me Rosie
Rosie
Rosie
What do you wanna do
Please tell me Rosie
Rosie
Rosie

The song Rosie by The Roosters is a Japanese rock 'n' roll song that talks about the free-spirited and wild lifestyle of a girl named Rosie. The chorus of the song repeatedly asks Rosie, "What do you wanna do? Please tell me Rosie," suggesting that she is unpredictable and always looking for a good time. The lyrics further describe Rosie's love for rock 'n' roll and her desire to live life fully, accompanied by the repetitious phrase "Rosie oshiete," which translates to "Tell me Rosie."
The verse discusses Rosie's impatience or restlessness shown by the line, "All wrapped up in frustration," which indicates that she is seeking some kind of escape. Additionally, the verse mentions Rosie's love for dancing, which she's incredibly passionate about during weekends, often attending nightclubs and performing on stage as the leading lady. The notion of Rosie being a hero or a leading lady ties into her carefree attitude, with the line "After acting as my hero, then you're off to seek some guy," which indicates that she might have a promiscuous personality.
Overall, "Rosie" is a song reminiscent of the rock 'n' roll scene in the 1950s and 1960s, which started in the US and quickly spread to Japan. The Rooster's song captures the spirit of the era with its frantic guitar solos and fast-paced drums, and its portrayal of Rosie's wild and unpredictable lifestyle.
